Callaway Park and RV Campground

Our campground in Calgary is the Callaway Park and RV Campground. We made our reservations late and this was the only thing open and now I know why. The campground is little more than a cow field with gravel parking spots for RVs. There are hookups -which is a good thing, but the showers are coin operated ($2 for 5 minutes) and turn off automatically even if you still have soap on you.

Attached to the campground is an amusement park. I thought it would be something like Six Flags in Agawam, but it’s a mini park. It does have a rollercoaster that takes you up-side-down (a first for Sara), but it’s so short, about 20 seconds, that they send you through twice! Still the kids had fun.
