Columbia Ice Fields

One of the most amazing stops on our trip so far was the Columbia Ice Fields. Just south of Jasper National Park in Canada, this is a place where it snows more each year than melts in the summer. It goes on for hundreds of miles and is hundreds of meters thick. The boys sure wished they brought their snowboards! Unfortunately, there are crevices dropping down hundreds of feet that are covered with a thin layer of snow, so they were limited to how far they could go.
