Talketna is not RV Friendly

On the way from Denali to the Kenai peninsula we stopped at the small town of Talketna. It was a cute little village with lots of interesting shops for the girls to visit.

We had lunch at the Mile High Pizza Pie. While waiting for our pies to cook, we used their outdoor bean bag pit with the team of Bill & Conor crushing Patrick & Keegan 2 games to 1 (the girls were still shopping).

The only thing I did not like about Talketna was that it is was not RV friendly. The public parking lot had a sign saying “No RVs’ and when we did find a legal place to park on the street, the owners of the inn we were next to asked us to move.

My advice is to skip Talketna, AK if you are in an RV.
