Mt Hood Day 2

Our second day at Mt Hood had much better weather than the first. It was bright and sunny for the entire day and the boys spent another day snowboarding while Sara lounged in the RV. Michelle and Bill once again enjoyed a fabulous brunch at the Timberline Lodge (that’s how good it was!).

After the lifts closed, we headed to hike the Mirror Lake Trail on a mountain near Mt Hood. The hike was about 3.5 miles long with significant elevation change. Michelle and Bill continued on from there and climbed Mt Tom Dick and Harry to add an additional 2 miles and some fantastic scenery. We ended the hike with a leisurely run down the mountain to make a 7:00pm Mass at St. John’s, a quaint little church near where we were staying.
