Glacier Bay National Park

Our next adventure was a visit to Glacier Bay National Park. This park does not have any roads leading to it so we left our beloved RV in Skagway and jumped in a 9 seater Piper Navajo Chieftain flown by Mike of Air Excursions.

While still cloudy above us, we received a 2,000 foot view of the bay leading to Skagway and the surrounding mountains.

At the airport, we were met by Rob from the Glacier Bay Lodge and taken through town which consisted of three or four buildings including a gas station with old fashion gas pumps.
