Jack London’s Cabin

Another interesting place in Dawson City was the famous author Jack London’s Cabin. As a young man of 21, Jack came to the Yukon to earn his riches in the gold fields. He got close, but never made his big find and returned home 18 months later. What he did find up here was a wealth of interesting people, places and stories that he would later write about and become the most well paid author of his time.

In the 1960’s, he cabin was found and brought to Dawson to be set up as a museum. An interpretive guide took us through Jack’s life and we got to see many photos of Jack London and look inside of his cabin.
